How to measure

Our European linen is woven from long‑fiber flax, valued for its strength and smooth finish. The yarns used in this line are measured at 60 LEA, a count that balances fineness and durability — ideal for everyday shirts with a comfortable drape. In linen, LEA count reflects yarn thickness: higher numbers indicate finer yarns, while lower counts produce heavier textures. Over time, linen naturally softens with every wash, as the flax fibers relax and gain flexibility without losing strength.

Most shirt buttons are plastic. Ours aren't.

Mother of Pearl buttons are cut from natural shell — smooth, cool to the touch, and slightly different from one another because no two pieces of shell are identical. They don't yellow over time the way plastic does, and they don't carry the weight of something that shouldn't be on a natural fabric shirt.
